Who is responsible
Imvite is responsible for your data (the operator is named at the end of this page). Write to info@imvite.me with any question or request.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Your invitations: the names, dates, places, words and photos you add.
- Your guests: the names you add, and a phone number, email or note if you choose to add them.
- Replies: whether a guest is coming, how many, menu choices and any dietary notes they write.
- Payment: whether and when you paid, the amount and your billing country. Your card details go to Paddle and never reach us.
- Visits to imvite.me: if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics measures which pages are visited. If you decline, it does not.
Why we use it
To run your account and show your invitation to your guests (our contract with you), to take your payment and keep records the law requires, to answer your messages, and, only with your consent, to understand how people use the website. We never sell your data or use your guests’ details for marketing.
Who helps us
- Hostinger hosts the website, the database and our email.
- Paddle handles checkout and payments as Merchant of Record (Paddle’s privacy notice).
- Google provides Analytics, only if you accept cookies.
Some of them work outside your country. Where data leaves the EU, they use the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
The app uses one cookie to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and invitations until you delete them or ask us to. Guest replies are deleted with the invitation. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or limit how we use it. Write to info@imvite.me and we will answer within 30 days. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will tell you by email.
Imvite is run by Florian Azemi, Kosovo, as a sole trader.
